Reading books like this confirms the bug that sometimes make the gods, for reasons and motives that never come to understand, give us life so that we know of the existence of a bygone era in which for sure would have found more sense of our passion.
Perhaps it would have been a short life in terms of time, but so intense that the measure of that time would have had no meaning, ...
The time it takes a life should never be greater than the duration of the sleep that nourishes it.
Jean Mermoz a passionate man, a daring pilot, a pioneer of civil aviation, a postman air flights fellow Saint-Exupery, ...
Its existence is developed "when sex was safe and flying dangerous," disappeared in 1936 at age 35 aboard a seaplane ... flying.
Is a book, like many others, a must read for those who are passionate about flying and somehow we would have liked to live the moments in aviation.
It was said of the early airmail: "There are few times in these deeds as worthy of being saved in the memory of men as this amazing relay race."
The book's author said in 1929 that: "In not too many years few will understand this story reach, for flying machines are so fast and so secure, and onboard instruments and their use will have been perfected so that plane fly will become a peaceful way to get around. I hope that by then did not forget those who were the first post of the desert ... "
I think never forgotten that before we flew, in fact I think when we fly we do not fly alone, but we are accompanied by an immense formation invisible. When we fly the sky seems empty, in fact, is full of brothers who preceded us aviators, those who became part of the same sky that crossed flying, or of those who came to old ... all of them, all aviators, always fly with us ...
To the gods I beg you not to allow the duration of my life than sleep duration that feeds it.
