Es una mezcla de sensaciones que no se pueden explicar las que se sienten cuando un antiguo alumno te presenta a otras personas con las siguientes palabras: "Os presento a Jesús, él me enseñó a volar".
Para los que pensamos que volar es mucho más que manejar un artefacto mecánico que se eleva por el aire, sería demasiado pretencioso pensar que con nuestra labor de instrucción realmente enseñamos a volar, no somos los poseedores de una varita mágica que obra el milagro de conseguir que cualquier ser humano sea capaz de volar "con mayúsculas", ni tampoco somos dioses que imparten el "don" de volar a diestro y siniestro.
Yo me conformo con intentar transmitir mi pasión por volar a todos los que se han sentado conmigo en un avión y me siento muy feliz cuando ayudo a que un alumno llegue a convertirse en un piloto "fino y seguro".
Pero el climax de mi labor como instructor llega con alumnos como Carlos, él es el vivo ejemplo de lo que todo instructor pretende conseguir con un alumno, me refiero a ser superado en conocimientos, destrezas, aptitudes, actitudes y pasión por aquellos a los que un día mostraste el sueño de volar como algo realizable.
El constatar como Carlos y otros muchos ya vuelan mucho más alto y mejor que yo, me confirma que realmente merece la pena todo lo que hice, lo que hago y lo que haré por seguir siendo instructor de vuelo.

For those who think that flying is much more than managing a mechanical device that rises through the air, it would be too pretentious to think that our work really teach instructional flying, are not possessors of a magic wand to get the miracle that any human being able to fly, nor are we gods imparting the gift of flying left and right.
I am content with trying to convey my passion for flying to all who have sat with me on a plane and I feel very happy when I help a student to become a pilot "fine and safe."
But the climax of my work as students and instructor Carlos arrives, he is the epitome of what every teacher a student intended to do, I mean to be overcome in knowledge, skills, aptitudes, attitudes and passion for those who one day showed the dream of flying as something achievable.
